Affixed to the surface on the lower left corner of the photograph is a label that reads "1962-On the election trail in Alberta". Stamped in blue ink on the back of the photograph is the photography studio, Gilbert A Milne & Co. In addition, stamped in black ink on the top right corner reads "Robert N. Thompson, M.P. House of Commons, Ottawa, Canada."
