Audio 241a consists of the following recording:
Title: Many Speakers – “Cambridge - President's Reception Feb 23, 1996”
Kenton [possibly Kenton Pauls, Admissions Counsellor] speaks initially, explaining the purpose of the evening and the benefits of Trinity Western University. President Neil Snider speaks, relating the benefits of Trinity Western University, information regarding the programs offered and work occurring at TWU. At [7:47] Kenton sings, accompanied by a piano. At [11:03] Dr. Snider speaks to several alumni in attendance. They share their TWU experiences. Dr. Snider speaks at length. He tells the story of TWU joining the AUCC. At [36:00] he speaks to Gillian, a current TWU student, on the benefits of the music program. Kenton is invited to speak on his missionary work. At [43:33] a group sings, accompanied by a piano.
Audio 241b consists of the following recording:
Title: Many Speakers – “Cambridge - President's Reception Feb 23, 1996”
This is a continuation of the event on Aud. 241a. Kenton continues to sing, accompanied by a piano. Dr. Snider invites Heather [likely Heather Thomson, Director of the Parents Program] and Kenton to participate with him in a question and answer session. Kenton provides more information on his TWU experience and on finances and financial aid options. A woman discusses her experience as a TWU parent. Dr. Snider shares further information. He responds to questions from the audience. At [29:55] a music ensemble performs, accompanied by a piano. At [32:23] Dr. Snider concludes the event with prayer.
