Title: Karen Pascal – “Why Hurt Kids”
Brian Stiller, of the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada, interviews Karen Pascal, a filmmaker who produced a documentary - under the EFC's campaign slogan, “Why Hurt Kids” - on the nature of pornography in Canadian Culture. Stiller mentions that the EFC's Social Action Commission had commissioned Pascal to create this video. Important issues that are raised include the exposure of individuals under the age of 18 to pornography, the integration of violence with pornography, child pornography, and the degradation of women. They also discuss pornography and crime, reactions of various groups to the research that her organization is doing, and the importance of influencing society.

Title: Karen Pascal – “Why Hurt Kids”
This is a continuation of the interview on Aud. 136a. Pascal discusses the revelations she experienced while working on her film and reveals her hope for future projects. Stiller thanks her for her work.

[Karen Pascal was a Canadian film producer and director; as of 2008 she had worked in the industry for more than 25 years, and was President of Windborne Productions, based in Markham, Ontario]
[Stiller served as President of Youth For Christ Canada until 1983, when he was appointed President of the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada. He founded EFC's national magazine, Faith Today. In 1997, he took on the role of President of Tyndale University College and Seminary, where he remained until his retirement in 2009.]
