Public Speaking Medallion Pendant

Object is a stirling silver medallion pendant awarded to Robert Thompson who won first place in a public speaking contest. The medallion is attached to a metal pendant clip. The front inscription reads: "Public Speaking Contest, 1st, Heckla, S.D." The back inscription: "Markerville, 1925, Junior Fair, R. Thompson." The front inscription is mounted on a rounded base that is surrounded by a laurel wreath. The medallion was manufacturered by P.W. Ellis.
