The University's website carried the following description: TWU's broad community of donors, friends, and government officials, joined with the campus and Board of Governors on October 14th, 2006, to formally inaugurate Dr. Jonathan S. Raymond as TWU President. The Chandos Pattison Auditorium was the perfect setting for the ceremony, which included a regal procession with over one hundred faculty in traditional academic colors, triumphant music and vibrant speakers highlighting the university's four decades of academic vitality.
