There is an engraving on the plate reading "Mr. Robert N. Thompson, 1967.3.11, M/G Byang Hion Lew, CG, Tiger Rok Division, Vietnam". The centre features a raised emblem of a side profile of a tiger’s face roaring. The emblem background is green and the tiger is orange and red. This emblem represents the Tiger Division of Republic of Korea Army. On either side of the emblem has engraved Korean script, Hangul.
