Dr. Don Page and Dr. Neil Snider discuss the success of Trinity Western University. They answer questions on the quality of faculty and education of TWU. There is a brief mention of the new (1994) addition of the Neufeld Science Centre. They discuss the various benefits of attending TWU. There is a discussion of the different programs available. Several alumni and parents are introduced and describe the TWU experience. There is music and singing.

Title: Dr. Paul Marshall, Staley Lecturer – “Pluralism and Liberalism”
Dr. Marshall, political philosopher, professor, and author, continues his discussion of pluralism from the series that begins on Aud. 83a. He outlines the various ways, appropriate and inappropriate, of responding to pluralism. He argues that secularism is an inappropriate way to address public life. He defines and discusses liberalism at length. He discusses the importance of defining values through the Trinity Western University mission statement and community standards. He argues that liberalism detracts from the effectiveness of an institution such as a church, a university, or a marriage. He argues that there are other things that are valuable in the world, in addition to individual rights.

A man - possibly Greg Charyna, TWU Alumnus (1989) and member of Trinity's Public Relations department - interviews Rebecca Verhaeghe, alumna (1984), on how her experience at Trinity Western University impacted her life. [The interview may be conducted over the telephone; the recording volume for Verhaeghe's replies is very low] She describes her current position, as a social worker and family therapist working in a hospital in York County, and discusses the impact of faith-based education. This interview is intended as the basis of an advertisement for Trinity Western University in Faith Today magazine.

He discusses the relevance of Trinity Western University’s mission statement in glorifying God.

Dr. Snider remarks on David Enarson’s involvement with Trinity Western University and the overall development and challenge of Trinity Western University. He discusses the importance and development of the Trinity Western University mission statement.
