The fonds consists of correspondence, speeches, articles, notes, minutes, photographs, scrapbooks and other records relating to Thompson's personal life, his involvement with various organizations, his military career and work in Ethiopia, his political career as MP and national leader of the Social Credit Party of Canada, and his work as an educator.

The Fonds consists primarily of manuals, forms, and other Toastmaster materials. There are a few records documenting the membership of the club. See Note, below.

The fonds consists of a limited number of records that document some of the activities and functions of the Financial Services department. These records include a complete set of Trinity Western University's annual, audited financial statements (1962 to 2000), as well as a small number of files containing budgetary information (1973-1979), several reports to the Board, mortgage documents (transferred in July of 2003), and one copy of "Appraisal of Trinity Junior College" dated 1966.

It provides a unique source of information regarding the founding and early development of the University, as well as student-related matters including grades, admissions, scholarships, transfers, and graduation.
