Private Wings

Object is a silver coloured metal private wings pin with blue detailing and one pin on the back. These pins were awarded to students at annual Wings Banquets. Archival holdings include 6 identical items.

TJC shield mounted on wood.

Item is an oversized TJC shield made of brass mounted on a dark wood-stained base for Trinity Junior College. The letters are engraved into the brass with burgundy paint. The letter “T” towers above the other letters and the mid-section forms a cross that connects the letters “J” and “C”. Behind the logo is an inverted white triangle. Engraved with red paint on a stylized brass ribbon at the shield’s base reads “TO THE PRAISE OF THE GLORY OF HIS GRACE”. The brass shield is affixed to the wooden base with three screws.

Medium yellow Melmac bowl

Object is a medium-sized yellow Melmac bowl used in the original dining hall in Seal Kap House. [Melmac was a brand of melamine (plastic) dinnerware produced by American Cyanamid from the late 1940s]

Navy TWU T-Shirt

Object is a navy "Trinity Western University" t-shirt with blue and white lettering (the colour/font is the 2016 design). The t-shirt is medium, 50% cotton, 50% polyester, made by Russell Athletic.

Small Trinity Junior College crest

Object is an embroidered, felt TJC crest pinned or tacked to a wooden base carved to match the crest in shape and dimensions; the whole is attached to a wide navy & white velvet or velveteen ribbon which may have been intended to be worn looped around a wearer's neck as part of some official regalia. Note that the crest itself is approximately 11.5 x 12 cm in size, and the base appears to be solid wood

Grey TWU T-Shirt

Object is a grey "Trinity Western University" t-shirt with blue and white lettering. The t-shirt is large, 53% cotton, 47% polyester, made by Russell Athletic.
