Council of Maritime Premiers.

File consists of correspondence related to administrative initiatives between the Federal and Provincial governments, in particular policies and programming.

Ontario correspondence.

File consists of news releases related to Ontario's Provincial matters in Queen's Park, copy of the Ontario Tax Credit System Guide for 1973, reports related to Ontario's Federal Provincial Interprovincial Relations, and a copy of Selected Articles from the Quebed French-Language Press in Canada with an emphasis to see notations.

Department of Attorney-General Privacy and Computer Banks.

File consists of correspondence pertaining the federal government proposal of establishing a Federal Human Rights Commission on how to manage computer banks and personal information data within various departments of the Federal Government. Mel informed colleague that the Department of Justice and the Federal Department of Communications a year prior had already begun conversations to which Mel was involved.

Alberta correspondence.

File consists of correpondence and sharing of information from Mel's counterpart in Alberta's Federal Provincial Interprovincial Relations, including organization chart, and copies of Alberta's throne speech (7 March 1974), Alberta's first report of the Department of Federal and Intergovernmental Affairs (1975), a copy of Alberta's Budget Address (30 May 1975), and news releases related to provincial matters.

Department of Agriculture.

File consists of correspondence in Mel's role as Coordinator, Federal-Provincial Affairs related to farm credit in Canada, farm planning conference in Winnipeg in 1973, and Canadian Federation of Agriculture on cost of production.

Saskatchewan correspondence.

File consists of correspondence related to the Petroleum Corporation Act, the Automobile Insurance litigation, information related to the working of BC's Federal Provincial Intergoverntal affairs, and seeking advice related to Alberta's plans to withdraw from the Tax Collective Agreement in respect of corporation income tax.
