Fonds consists mainly of promotional material related to Peter Flint's work related the Dead Sea Scrolls Institute, including newspaper clippings and magazine articles, televised interviews and recordings, and photographs of colleague Marty Abegg and others Dead Sea Scrolls scholars. In addition, there are two rare religious texts: "The Massorah" (1883); and the "Vetus Testamentum, Graece Juxta LXX Interpretes" (1859)

Item is a poster promoting a TWU event hosted by Dr. Peter Flint on the Dead Seas Scrolls. The poster features a head shot of Dr. Flint on the mid left with an aerial photograph of Trinity Western’s Langley campus at the top. Under the head shot is a description of the talk, and the black text reads “Dr. Flint is the most prestigious and decorated Canadian researcher in his field, receiving the only government-funded $1.4 million Tier 1 Canadian Research Chair in Religious Studies. He is regularly featured in print, radio and television around the world, and has authored several books. Today, Dr. Flint will discuss the discovery of the Dead Seas Scrolls, how they came to be hidden, and the relevance of these ancient documents for the Christian Faith.
