Social Economics manuscript

File consists of a typed photocopied edited manuscript "Social Economics" by Robert N. Thompson who was associate professor of political science at TWU, and Terry Noir, assistant professor of economics at Trinity Western College. The file contains pages 1 to 127 of the edited manuscript.

Oversized production posters are stored on Bay 20 Shelf 1 and include: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe (2003-2004, vinyl banner); 2011-2012 production season and a promotional statistic poster (vinyl banners); Godspell (2009-2010); Playland (2010-2011); My Name is Asher Levy (2020-2011); Jake’s Gift (2010-2011); and the 2012-2013 production season (vinyl banner). There is an oversized hard plastic Re:union poster from the 2011-2012 season stored in the map cabinet, drawer 4.

Political Cartoons

This subseries consists of political cartoons depicting Robert N. Thompson as leader of the Social Credit Party of Canada and his relations to other Canadian political figures, such as John Diefenbaker, Lester Pearson and Tommy Douglas. The political cartoons depicts social and political attitudes in the 1960s from his role in Parliament to his roles in Africa are explored to the economic benefits of Social Credit leadership are examined in these Cartoons.

Social Credit Political Posters

This subseries consists of political posters from Robert N. Thompson’s time as leader of The Social Credit Party of Canada. These posters focus on the elections that took place for the Social Credit Party to vote Robert N. Thompson as a member of parliament for the district of Red Deer Alberta. These elections took place in 1962, 1963 and 1965. The Progressive Conservative political poster comes from Robert N. Thompson leaving the Social Credit Party and joining the Progressive Conservative Party after he crossed the floor of Parliament.
