Academic Development

This series consists of records documenting the academic development of the University and includes correspondence, memos, proposals, and reports. Records pertaining to the restructuring of the Institute of Aviation (1993-1995) are predominantly filed in this series. Records documenting the school's relationship with the AUCC are also filed here.

Board of Governors

This series consists of records generated by and for the Board and various committees reporting to or advising the Board, including reports, minutes, and notes. Records documenting the affiliation between TWU and NBTC, and the Crown Land Acquisition are also filed here.

Development and Financial Records

This series consists of records documenting the development of the University; it includes financial records and materials pertaining to foundations, grants, scholarships, the University's Development Department, the development of campus infrastructure and building programs, and fund-raising functions and events, such as banquets. Some strategic planning reports are filed here, although minutes of the Strategic Planning Committee will be found in series 02.02

Events

This series consists of records documenting special events such as ground-breakings, dedications, banquets, receptions, convocations, conferences, etc. Some materials pertaining to the Aviation Accident of 1991 are also filed here.

Note that in June 2013, the University established the Office of Community Engagement (OCE). This "functional team" included University Events.

Minutes of Meetings; Committee Records

This series consists of the records - minutes, notes, reports, etc. - of various committees and commissions, including the Higher Education 4-Year Program Commission, the Administrative Committee, various student committees, etc. Amendments to the various Acts are filed here, as are Bills, Charters, and By-Laws. Records documenting the Western Pentecostal Initiative will be filed in this series, wherever possible.

Personal

This series consists of records documenting Dr. Snider's degree work at the University of Manitoba

Personnel

This series consists of personnel records generated by or submitted to the President's Office, and includes records documenting Staff and Faculty Days, Orientation programs, and Faculty Review Day.

Speeches, Papers and Manuscripts

This series consists of speeches, papers, and manuscripts, including convocation addresses, and draft copies of "Excellence for God's Glory," by Lois Neely. Some publications, as well as news releases, are also filed here.
