There is music and singing. President Snider speaks on the success and development of the ACTS (Association of Canadian Theology Schools) consortium - representing Trinity's first graduate program. Barrie Palfreyman (Dean and Acting President, ACTS) speaks on the success of ACTS. An honorary doctorate is presented to Dr. Kenneth R. Meyer - President of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School since 1983 - by Don Page (Academic Vice President) and Neil Snider. Meyer thanks Trinity Western University for the degree and shares personal anecdotes. He discusses the importance of discernment and making the right choice. There is music and singing. Those present are asked for a donation. There is music and singing. Don Page recognizes the work of the faculty and acknowledges the departing faculty. He presents the Governor General’s Silver Medal to the student with the highest GPA, Kevin Dean Friessen, with a GPA of 3.996

This is a continuation of the ceremony on Aud. 163a. Don Page invites the valedictorian, Ken Jacobsen, to speak. Jacobsen speaks on his gratitude for his education and the importance of impacting the world for Christ. Graduates' names are read. There is music and singing. The group is led in prayer. Ken Davis (TWU Administrator) speaks briefly. Those gathered join to sing the hymn, “Great is Thy Faithfulness”.
