Scope and content

Audio 68a consists of the following recording:
Title: Dr. Neil Snider – “Knowledge”
Dr. Snider examines the importance of knowledge and the different definition of knowledge in a Christian context. He argues there is eternal Truth. He reads Paul’s prayer from Colossians 1:9-12. He encourages students to allow their faith to become alive and real. He argues that individuals need to have a profound understanding of God and His will. He applies this feeling to the atmosphere of Trinity Western University. He also explores the importance of Christian love and relates an outsider’s positive experience at Trinity Western University. He encourages the students to reach out to others through good acts. Finally, he leads the group in prayer.
Audio 68b consists of the following recording:
Title: Wade Larson – “Faith and Doubt”
Wade Larson, student association president, speaks on his faith journey. He proposes an argument of "doubt for doubt’s sake." He argues that it is impossible to prove God's existence through logic. He explores the struggles that occur when one grows within faith. Faith is fragile and requires care. He explores the idea of faith and doubt at length. He then leads the group in prayer.
