Intervarsity Christian Fellowship at UBC hosts this debate on Doctor Assisted Suicide. Patricia Towler, a Halifax lawyer, moderates the debate. In favour: Svend Robinson, who holds Science and Law degrees from UBC, and was elected to Parliament in 1979 as an MP for the NDP in Burnaby Kingsway. Speaking against is Dr. Paul Chamberlain, who holds a PhD from Marquette University and is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at TWU. Svend Robinson speaks first. At [24:45] Chamberlain begins his argument against Physician-Assisted Suicide.
Audio 119b consists of the following recording:

This is a continuation of the debate on Aud. 119a. Dr. Paul Chamberlain continues his argument against Doctor-Assisted Suicide. At [10:25] Svend Robinson gives his rebuttal. At [21:04] Dr. Chamberlain responds to Robinson’s rebuttal. At [32:24] the moderator opens the floor to questions.

This is a continuation of the debate on Aud. 119c. Robinson expresses his gratitude for the opportunity to openly debate the issue. At [2:35] Chamberlain reads a letter from a senior citizen to reinforce his points and then restates his argument against Physician Assisted Suicide.
