Audio 151a consists of the following recording:
Title: Many Speakers – “Aviation Memorial Service”
A memorial service was held in honour of students Teena Daly, Jeffrey Helzer, Al Karim Merali, Danny Penner, and Terry Townsend, and instructor Graeme Seath, who lost their lives in an aviation accident March 5, 1991. The effect of the tragedy on the TWU community is reflected upon. There is music and singing , and Bible passages are read. Various members of faculty and staff share memories and prayers, including Tom Bulick (Vice President for Student Affairs), flight instructors Maelene Fodor and Matt Edwards, Malcolm Cameron (Director of Campus Ministries), Ivan Pettigrew (Director of the Institute of Aviation), and Malcolm Seath (Graeme's father). This recording ends with the singing of the hymn "O Father, You Are Sovereign."
Audio 151b consists of the following recording:
Title: Many Speakers – “Aviation Memorial Service”
This is a continuation of the ceremony on Aud. 151a. President Snider shares a meditation, and Dr. Don Page (Vice President for Academic Affairs) offers a prayer of dedication. There is a tribute from the Student Association, and reference to plans to plant six trees on campus, in memory of those who died. The recording ends with music.
